Chapel Hill - Chauncy Hall School
Realizing our Future, Honoring our Past tops $1,000,000! Led by the Board of Trustees and with generous gifts from current and past parents, alumni, and friends of the School, campaign gifts and pledges have just topped $1,000,000! With the path connecting campus and the chapel well under way and the sounds of construction filling the air, our community continues to push the campaign for Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School toward its $1.5 million goal. | Last fall, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall took an important step forward to expand our facilities and reconnect with our past. On September 1, the School acquired the historic chapel which gave us the Chapel Hill part of our name. When renovations are complete, this spectacular property will provide assembly and recital space for our community, a new home for our World Languages Department, as well as a vibrant Student Commons. The historic pathway “over the hill” that Chapel Hill girls once walked will again connect the school and chapel property.
Our community has come together with enthusiasm to help make our vision for this space a reality for our students. On January 19, 2012, we launched Realizing Our Future, Honoring Our Past, a $1.5 million campaign to fund the acquisition, renovation, and restoration of the chapel and adjacent buildings. Led by the efforts of campaign chairs Tom and Michelle King, ‘P13, and leadership gifts from our Board of Trustees, current parents, alumni and their parents, faculty and staff, and friends of CH-CH have been overwhelmingly supportive.
