Why did you choose CH-CH? I needed a place that would understand how I learn, and that I work hard. Teachers at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall care about me as a student and a person.
What is your favorite thing about CH-CH? The community. People aren’t afraid to be themselves, which makes me feel comfortable to have an opinion. There’s a lot of trust in our community.

How do you like the small class size? I like how you get to know your teachers one on one. It helps me get more done, and my teachers know when I am doing well and when I need some extra help.
Who is your favorite teacher? Ms. Focaldo in SAS (Skills and Academic Support)– even though she’s not one of my subject teachers, she is a true helping hand, and wants to keep me on track… and she’s fun! We connect well.
What is your favorite class? Math – Ms. Overbye makes it enjoyable, and she relates it to things that we care about. I have always struggled in math, but now I am doing great.
