Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall Parents and Guardians Association (PGA). The PGA would like to welcome you to a new school year. We hope that you will find that being involved in the PGA is a great way to connect with other parents/guardians and support our school community.
The PGA has four main purposes: to facilitate communication among families, faculty and staff, to promote a positive image of the school both within and outside of the school community, to encourage parent/guardian participation in the life of the school, and to support fundraising efforts. Fundraising proceeds, as well as PGA dues, support student field trips and other student activities, as well as gifts to departing seniors. The PGA will keep you informed of upcoming PGA events through postings on the PGA News and Resources page of this website.
PGA Board members meet throughout the academic year to plan, coordinate, recruit volunteers and make donations for activities that enrich our school community. PGA meeting dates are posted on this website. Each trimester features a PGA meeting that includes a business session and featured topic that includes guest speakers from the School's administration, including Head of School Lance Conrad. Meetings are held in the Clements Room, Harrington Hall unless otherwise noted. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Warmly,
Michelle Kanavos P'14, PGA Co-Chair
Charlotte Pierce P'12, PGA Co-Chair
