Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall's 40-acre campus is what typically comes to mind with "New England boarding school." It's quiet, safe, and peaceful, with big trees, lots of green lawn, bicycles and few cars, traditional buildings, and a history that goes back to 1860. The incredible part is that downtown Boston is only ten miles away.
On weekends, students can join trips into Boston to see a play, or attend a sporting event, or simply walk its historic streets. They return to an extremely pleasant, homelike environment, where it's easy to concentrate and there's plenty of space to learn and grow.
