Job Description
The Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is seeking a creative, progressively minded, and hard-working individual to become our Director of International Student Life beginning in the 2023-24 school year. As a school that embraces Multiple Intelligences philosophy, we seek a teacher leader who works diligently to reach all learners and believes, as we do, that it is not “how smart you are'' but rather “how you are smart.” This position involves supporting and advocating for our international students and their families in all aspects of their lives at CH-CH, as well as teaching classes in a core discipline and tutorials in the English Language Learners programs. Administratively, the DISL assists the Admissions Department in evaluating and selecting candidates for admission and shapes the academic direction of the school as a member of the School’s Curriculum Committee. The DISL will also participate in our co-curricular program.

Prior teaching experience working with English Language Learners

An academic background, and preferably a major, in TESOL is preferred
