The performing arts faculty believes that the study of music contributes to the quality of life of all who pursue it. Our full program of courses is in vocal and instrumental music, as well as music history and music theory. Designed to help students develop skills in creative expression, meaningful listening, and cultural and historical understanding, each course provides opportunities to create, perform, listen to, and analyze music. Our curriculum supports musicians at beginning and advanced levels as they seek to acquire and enhance their skills. The music program complements an active theater program, which takes place after school.
