Winter Carnival: Traditionally held the first week in February. During this weeklong celebration students divide into teams and create costumes, compete in sports, create skits – culminating with a finale on Friday.  There is a complete day of school on Friday, but no classes.

Athletics’ Awards Nights: Held at the conclusion of each athletic season, all teams come together and awards and citations are presented. A highlights video is shown followed by an ice cream social.  Parents are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The dates and times can be found in the weekly e-newsletter and on the school calendar.

Golf Classic:  Do you like to golf? Please join us for the Charger Classic Golf Outing where you can partake in contests, challenges, the opportunity to win a new car with a hole-in-one, and FUN!  Win, lose, or draw, you’ll finish the day feeling great because the entire day’s proceeds go to benefit CH-CH students and teachers.  Not a golfer? You can still have a great time and support the School by joining us from 4:00 6:00pm in the Sandy Burr clubhouse for the post-golf reception which will include a raffle, refreshments, and comradery. For more information and to register, contact Ben Rogers at brogers@chch.org.

Promenade and Prom: Before our students depart for the prom, please join us on the Harrington Hall Lawn for the promenade to see the students off starting at 6:30pm.  The CH-CH Promenade (which is open to all grades) ia an opportunity for students and parents to gather together for photos on campus before the All-School Prom. We hope you'll join us for this opportunity to come and see the students dressed up, before sending them off to the Prom at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland. Photos will be posted to the CH-CH Flickr account for parents to download.

Grandparents’ and Family Friends’ Visiting Day:  Join us on campus for a fun-filled morning and learn all about CH-CH. Guests will gather beginning at 8:30am in the Student Commons. After a welcome from Head of School Lance Conrad, we'll head over to Beaver Gymnasium for the CH-CH Science Fair! After the awards ceremony, guests will have an opportunity to take photos with their students. The day concludes with lunch at the CH-CH Commons. While this event is for grandparents and family friends, parents are invited to the Science Fair.

National Honor Society:  Being inducted into the National Honor Society is an acknowledgement of high grades and high moral standards.  This award carries an aura of prestige for the student upon which it is bestowed not only for the remainder of their high school years, but well into college and beyond.  Students need to complete an application in order to be considered.

Head’s Welcome Dinner:  This dinner is hosted by Lance Conrad, Head of Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School.  The dinner provides an opportunity for attendees to meet new families, connect with returning families and spend some time getting to know members of the CH-CH faculty and staff.
