“An effective education is the vehicle which creates lifelong learning skills, critical thinkers, problem solvers, role models, and achievers by preparing students to face the world with resilience and confidence.”

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe teaching is a valuable and rewarding profession which provides me with the opportunity to foster a love of learning for future generations. My primary goal as a teacher is to make a difference in the lives of my students each and every day. An effective education is the vehicle which creates lifelong learning skills, critical thinkers, problem solvers, role models, and achievers by preparing students to face the world with resilience and confidence.

Why teach at an independent school?
The secondary education program at Providence College provided me with a wholesome understanding of education’s purpose in modern-day society. The program itself truly taught me to teach in ways that are not only effective and measurable but take into account the fact that every student is different and must be provided with an individualized education that is tailored to his/her abilities and strengths. Those values are expressed at CH-CH, and CH-CH holds me accountable to the same high standards I had in my secondary education program.
