Curry Named 2019 IGC Basketball DII MVP
Congratulations to Kathleen Curry (‘19) on being named the 2019 Girls Basketball DII MVP of the Independent Girls Conference. Kathleen is a two-time NEPSAC Class D/E All-Star. She has also been an IGC all-league selection for the past two seasons, and is a four year starter for CH-CH, where she has served as team captain for the past two years. Kathleen averaged 10 points a game this season, helping to lead the Chargers to an IGC DII League Championship. In addition to scoring 10 points a game, she averaged 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 3 blocks. One of Kathleen’s many contributions to the team is that she leads by example, especially in practice, where she consistently displays a strong work ethic and pushes both herself and her teammates to their full potential.
