Boys Lacrosse Wins MBIL Championship

On May 13, the Boys Lacrosse team won the Massachusetts Bay Independent League Championship for the first outright lacrosse title in school history following their 2018 co-champion finish! The team traveled to Beverly where the Waring School battled back from a 4-1 halftime deficit to force overtime. Jaylin J. (‘25) sealed the victory with his third goal of the afternoon on a curl from around the net to win the game 7-6. David L. (‘22) and Andrew B. (‘23) each contributed two goals for the day with Gabe F. (‘24) adding an assist. Antoine I. (‘24) tallied 12 saves from the cage.

The Chargers finished 7-2 overall on the season and 5-1 in the league. Coach MacPhail “could not be more proud of this group of guys. With new players providing key contributions at each position, this team grew so much this year and deserves every bit of their success.”

Congratulations, and GO CHARGERS!
