Signature Programs

CH-CH's signature programs include Senior Presentations, Certificates of Distinction, and Spring Sessions.

At CH-CH, senior presentations entail each graduating senior delivering a speech in front of the entire school. This presentation revolves around a topic of their choice and forms an integral part of their final project requirements for graduation.

The Certificate of Distinction signifies a dedicated pursuit of excellence within one of three domains: Visual Arts, Math and Science, or Humanities. Attaining this distinction requires a strong GPA and independent summer work, showcasing strength in the chosen area. It stands as an achievement to take challenging courses in one of these areas.

Now over a decade old, Spring Session at CH-CH gives students a chance to dive into an area of interest with a like-minded faculty member, spending anywhere from four to eight days exploring topics that range from building synthesizers to exploring the bikeways of Boston to learning from Holocaust survivors and memorials.

Boarding at CH-CH

CH-CH’s boarding program is available to our 9-12 grade students. The program offers an immersive experience where students develop their independence and leadership skills, explore everything Boston has to offer, and make friendships that will last a lifetime. Students from around the corner and from around the world make up this diverse boarding program. Learn more.

Co-Curriculars

Co-Curriculars are an integral part of the CH-CH experience. From athletics to podcasting, students find a place where they can achieve their best. Our teachers are experts at developing an innovative curriculum that is both challenging and personally meaningful. Learn more.

DEI

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) remain at the core of our programming at CH-CH. We embrace differences in learning style and culture in a richly diverse and supportive community. To further support our mission, CH-CH recognizes that we must affirm this not only through our words but also through our actions. Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall affirms our identity as an anti-racist school and commits to becoming a school that is justice-seeking and-minded in our actions. Learn more

Challenging Academics

As a small school, we understand the importance of differentiated instruction, and we are able to make a student’s academic journey personal. We purposefully dedicate time to know and appreciate our students for who they are. By understanding their individual stories, strengths, challenges, interests, and backgrounds, we can best guide them toward their full potential. Learn more
