“Gifted in different directions.” This phrase was first used to describe Chauncy Hall students almost two centuries ago, and it remains as true today as it was then. CH-CH students are gifted artists, athletes, academics, friends, classmates, social activists, and much, much more. Our students’ passion, energy, and gifts lured me here in the fall of 2001, have kept me here ever since, and will continue to inspire me for years to come. My work, and that of all our teachers, advisors, coaches, houseparents, and other trusted adults in the community, is to know these tremendous adolescents deeply and well, and help them develop a powerful sense of self-awareness and self-advocacy that will serve them in college and beyond.

I know you will see all of this across our many areas of school life as you peruse our website, but please don’t stop there. Reach out to our admissions office and schedule a campus tour so you can meet our students, see the transformational education that takes place here, and put yourself on the path to becoming a Charger.
