Chargers Play BUA

Steven Christenson
On a crisp, sunny spring afternoon, the Chargers Ultimate team traveled to Central Square, Cambridge to play BUA. The Chargers stepped into competitive play after taking a week off due to Monday's game being postponed because of rain. The Chargers found their groove early on, scoring 6 unanswered points. BUA started pulling down discs in the end zone after that, but the Chargers settled on an effective zone defense that created many possessions. The whole Charger team played hard. Nick Lewis, Nicolo Triolo, and Arno Kiefer scored a point each. Brendan Connelly caughts two tough throws. Arno Kiefer and Tylar Dewitt earned assists. Nick DiOrio had a huge day for assists (9). Peter Wang (2) helped out in that category as well. Sheldon Farnum (5) and Neeron Sam (4) were formidable offensive players in the game. The Chargers played tough defense and moved the disc well on offense. The final score was 15 Chargers, 7 BUA.
