During student life block, the CH-CH community was treated to a special guest speaker in recognition of Black History Month. Rafael A. Shabazz is an Afro-Latino artist, performer, and poet from Dorchester, MA.
During his heartfelt talk, he emphasized the importance of truly understanding who you are and reflecting on the significance and depth of your identity as you navigate through life. He performed an original poem and held a workshop with select students to guide them through their own poetry-writing process.
