Chargers Lose Tough One in First Game of the Season
The JV Chargers played a tough one on Tuesday. Tied 0-0 at the half, the game was a back and forth contest between the Chargers and Gryphons. Early in the second the Gryphons made it onto the scoreboard by making good on a penalty kick. They followed up their first tally with a break away goal later in the second. Nevertheless, the game was much closer than the score suggests, and the Chargers should be proud of their play in their first game of the season. The Chargers were led by the defensive play of Dylan Gomes '20, Benjamin Grayzel '20, and Malachi Longmore '19. Dax Deiter '19 performed excellently in goal as well.
