ULTIMATE - season opener!

CH-CH Disc or Die had a strong season opening game.  The setting of the game was an impressive start - there were massive downpours, and we played against BU Academy in their large stadium.  We quickly rose to match the grandness of the setting with a strong team performance.  Newly-elected captains JJ Dubreuil, Sam Casper #7, and Wesley Hirsch played and led well.  Second-year player Fred Essieh #11 was a stellar receiver, grabbing discs that seemed uncatchable and catching half of our team's scores.  Erica Chen caught another score, and the whole team played energetic and effective defense.  Leon Zhang #23, in his first ultimate game, threw an impressive long throw for significant yard gain.  All in all, the game was played with excellent spirit on both sides.
