Visual Arts at CH-CH

The Visual Arts Department awakens and nourishes the creative process in every student. The Department offers a selection of courses in photography, digital art, ceramics, sculpture, art history, and studio art. All courses integrate critique and training in studio thinking strategies. The curriculum promotes creativity, original thinking, perseverance, resourcefulness, personal exploration, and safe risk-taking. Students have the opportunity to curate and show work in gallery spaces, develop a portfolio throughout their CH-CH career, work with industry-level design programs, and collaborate on projects with students as well as visiting artists.

Events

All students participate in 3 visual art shows throughout the year, showcasing their work in photography, ceramics, 2D Art, 3D Art, and more.

CH-CH also hosts a Digital Film Night each April, where community members share their video creations from throughout the year
