Vivian L.
Middle School: I went to middle school in my hometown, Shanghai.
College: Northeastern University
Major: Biochemistry. I had such great experiences in my science classes at CH-CH, and senior year I did various research projects relating to biochem.
Co-curriculars at CH-CH: Volleyball, Newspaper, Lacrosse, Cavalry, and Student Government- I was elected student body Vice President my junior year!
Favorite CH-CH memory: It’s very hard to choose my favorite memory. The CH-CH community is kind, patient, easygoing, and many people here will always be my family. Throughout my four years, I could tell the faculty truly cared and loved what they were doing. But if I had to choose one memory, it would be my first day on campus. I was very sad to be away from my family when I arrived freshman year. However, my dorm parents and resident advisors cheered me up immediately, which ultimately made me more confident.
Favorite thing to do on campus: Getting to meet the children of the faculty and staff! Many teachers live on campus and have small children, which they’d bring to several events happening on campus.
Advice to students: I have three words of advice for all current and future chargers: always be kind, feel appreciative, and be curious!
Describe the CH-CH community in one word: Diverse
