For the first time this millennium, the Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall hosted a home match at Leo J Martin in Weston. Playing in a tri-match format against Pingree and Bancroft, the Chargers had thier strongest outing of the season. Nate Friedman, senior captain and number one, shot a personal and team best 44 for the season. Playing from the number two position in place of Patrick Bourque (out sick the day), Freshman Peter Loar was truly sensational. He went into the final hole tied, but unfortunately his opponents managed to surpass the 50 he posted. Peter Wang, playing from number three, improved his score by a dozen strokes form the previous outing, and Edison Wu made his varsity debut from the number six position. Even though CHCH recorded two losses in League play, their enthusiasm and fine play made a big impression on both their coach and the opposition. The match set a very positive tone for the hosting team, and let's hope for more home matches in seasons to come.
