Girls Basketball Wins 2020 IGC DII Championship

On February 20, in front of a packed home crowd, the Girls’ Basketball team won the Independent Girls Conference DII Championship for the second consecutive year. The Chargers started the season strong, winning the Charger Classic Tournament with wins against local rival Cambridge School of Weston and Eagle Hill School. They carried this momentum through the winter, finishing the season 11-5 overall and undefeated in league play.

Zoe M. (‘23) scored 18 points in the championship game, including going six for six at the free throw line. Senior Captain Caroline B. (‘20) scored 12 points, helping lead the team to a 40-15 victory vs. #2 seeded Boston Trinity Academy.
