This will be a meet that the runners will not forget. It was chilly and raining hard when they were asked to take their sweats off and go to the finish line. They were soaked before they had started the race. But the runners mustered the energy and determination to run the 3.1 miles, crossing the finish line muddy and proud of having met the challenge. Under such conditions, the Chapel Hill runners did not beat their best times, but they ran hard and competed well.
Here are the times for the Chargers: Conor Devlin 22:41, Emily Balter 28:38, Kevin Wang 24:20, Matteo Triolo 26:23, Zak Whittenburg 26:32, Thomson Tang 26:58, Eric Heiman 27:54, Ben Pryor 27:58, Ben Hilf 31:23, Josh Smith 42:32, Rachel Robinson 42:33. (Anne King did not compete in the race.)
