Chapel Hill and Commonweath met for the first time today. Chapel Hill has had an Ultimate program for 9 years and Commonwealth 18, but the two teams hadn't met until now. Despite the nearly windless conditions, Commonweath started out with a strong zone defense. The Chargers quickly learned about the importance of moving the disc and making every catch count. Commonwealth had a good number of quick, skillful players so the Chargers had to work fast after turnovers. Chapel Hill hussled throughout and made many notable defensive plays and bids. The team played with spirit and grit. Sheldon Farnum brought in all of Chapel Hill's points. Nick DiOrio, Neeron Sam, and Peter Wang had assists. The final score was Chapel Hill 4, Commonwealth 15.
