Chargers Face the Uruk-hai in Weston

Steven Christenson
The Chargers Ultimate team hopped over to neighboring Weston to face the Uruk-hai of the Cambridge School of Weston. It was a sunny, yet chilly, and quite windy afternoon. Players from both teams were forced to throw strong, short passes in the gusty wind. The two teams went back and forth, scoring with CSW coming out on top at the half 7-5. Nick DiOrio (2)and Peter Wang (4) had all the assists for the Chargers, and Sheldon Farnum (2), Mikael Owens Collins (2), Neeron Sam (1) and Justin Shen (1) caught the disc in the endzone. The two teams were evenly matched and the athletes played hard in rather challenging conditions for over 90 minutes when the game concluded with CSW 12, the Chargers 6.
