The Chargers Ultimate team traveled around the corner to the turf field next to Gann Academy for a rematch. It was threatening rain, but there was little wind, which is unusual on top of that hill. Chapel Hill came out with a quick point, handling and moving the disc beautifully against Gann's zone D. A couple of points later it was 2-2 and at the half 8-4, Gann's lead. The Chargers were collected, confident, and aggressive on the field. Peter Wang, Nick DiOrio, and Justin Shen broke the cup time after time which made all the difference. So many of our players had strong defensive and offensive games. Nick DiOrio and Peter Wang both had 3 assists. Neeron Sam had a point and Sheldon Farnum had 5. In the end it was Gann 15 - Chapel Hill 6. When the teams were shaking hands, the Gann coaches made a point of saying how much the Charger's offensive has improved since the two teams faced each other back on April 18th.
