The Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall golfers traveled north to play Berwick Academy at the Ledges on Wednesday, where the team lost by a score of 0-6. Unlike last years match that was played under monsoon conditions, the weather was perfect, but amidst the flocks of wild turkeys and rumors of moose, the Chargers were unable to post scores that matched their opponents. Three Berwick players had scores at par or just above, and the Chapel Hill golfers were unable to match this impressive barrage of low scores. Team captain Nate Friedman led the team with a 51, and impressed the opposing coach with his ability to generate camaraderie and enthusiasm even when winning the match was out of reach.
