Golfers Score vs. Concord!

The CHCH golf team found two silver linings in their 1-5 loss to Concord on Wednesday afternoon at Nashawtuc Country Club. The Chargers were led by number four Peter Wang, who shot a team best 51 on the way to a tie in his match. Sophomore number two Patrick Borque shot a 52 and scored a half a point for another tie. These ties combined to end a four season long scoreless drought in EIL competition, a fact noted by the opposing coach, who remarked that CHCH was "becoming much more competitive" in varsity play. On a strangely hot, muggy afternoon in late October, the Chargers finally stopped smoldering, briefly caught fire, and began to live up to their considerable potential. Congratulations are in order!
