CH-CH takes league opener

The Chargers thundered down the road to cross-town league rival Gann Academy on Monday for their opening league tilt. After a 4-4 first half, the Chargers put up another 4 in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach. Jack L. '25 went wire to wire in the crease, making 21 stops, while the defense caused 25 turnovers, led by Josiah D. '24 with 9 CTs. Offensively, Jaylin J. '25 (3g, 1a) led scores, while Romeo M. '26 (2g) and Andrew B. '23 (2g, 2a) added to the total. Ayoub K. '25 (1g, 1a) rounded out the scoring, and Jonathan O. '24 tallied his first assist on the young season. The Chargers travel to Eagle Hill Wednesday for another road battle.
