A sense of community permeates the Harrington Hall dining facility, as students across grade levels break bread with faculty and staff. The dining hall is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, and open for brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. All students are welcome for all meals, and we encourage families to stop in for a bite to eat when on campus for shows, athletic events, or other visits.
We are committed to providing nutritious meals of high quality which appeal to our diverse student population. To this end, healthy and delicious food is served three times a day by Flik food services. A variety of choices throughout the week may include chicken Caesar salad, pizza, or grilled ham and cheese with fries. There is always a vegetarian dish, a full salad bar, and rice. Also, just in case the serving of the day doesn't suit individual tastes, there is a selection of deli sandwiches. There is a selection of juice, milk, and hot beverages. Small desserts are available after lunch and dinner.
In addition to all this, Flik also prepares and delivers a monthly series of educational programming around food. This programming varies; one month it might introduce the community to an international or ancient variety of cuisine while in another it might educate the community about local produce and sustainable farming options. All this serves as part of our on-going efforts to educate the whole student and provide a nurturing and enjoyable environment for our entire community.
