Each year there are opportunities for donors to direct their support for a specific purpose on behalf of the CH-CH students and faculty. The following funds were created to help support the wellbeing and success of our community members for programs or items that aren’t funded in the annual budget.

Thank you for your consideration of these important initiatives that supply all members of the CH-CH community with the additional resources they need for their continued success.

Clements Fund

The Clements Scholarship Endowment Fund was established by alumni parents with a generous gift in 1997. This gift established the James and Beverly Clements Scholarship Endowment Fund in honor of the Clements’ combined forty years of service to Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School. The Clements Fund helps to cover the cost for supplies and materials for mandatory academic and co-curricular needs. This category includes: academic supplies, books, materials required for a class, necessary athletic gear (cleats, equipment, sneakers), transportation to and from campus (during school breaks only), team gear, and yearbooks.
Walker Students of Color Wellness Fund
Mental health access for BIPOC and POC is often challenging to acquire for many reasons. With that, a fund has been created by Alicia Walker '20 dedicated to aiding students of color at CH-CH in seeking, accessing, and attending mental health services in the Waltham area.

The funds for the services will be provided based on need through the Health & Wellness office and publicized to the school at large as a part of the ongoing attempts to positively support the school's mission to serve all students equally, regardless of financial, social, academic, or resource bases. The fund will be used toward the following:
- In aid or full support of outside mental health counseling sessions for students of color
- In aid or full support of transportation to and from outside counseling sessions for students of color
- In aid or full support of outside substance abuse counseling for students of color
This fund will help students of color overcome the many barriers they are faced with and serve to impact school services over the course of several years or more, and will serve as a step in the quest for comfort among students of color, strengthening existing and pre-existing support systems.

CH-CH publishes donor lists both digitally and in print. Please specify if you would prefer to make your gift anonymous.

*The Charger Essentials Fund covers non-mandatory programming and personal needs for boarding students receiving need-based Financial Aid. This fund was developed in 2026 to support students with needs not covered by existing funding. Non-Mandatory Programming includes attendance at student conferences, non-mandatory weekend events, and formal attire. The Personal Needs category includes hygiene supplies, dorm room supplies, clothing, haircuts, doctor/dental visits, and takeout.

Pledges:

Pledge can be made to CH-CH as long as they are fulfilled by our fiscal year-end, June 30. Making a pledge gives you the option to either commit to a gift now without paying or spread your gift out by making payments on a schedule that works best for you. All pledges must be submitted in written form.
