Lizzy Rosen Named USA Lacrosse Coach of the Year

Coach Lizzy Rosen has been named the 2026 New England Eastern Coach of the Year by USA Lacrosse. She is a coach who builds an environment where athletes can grow as competitors and teammates, but most importantly an environment where every player feels like they belong. “Sports didn't always come naturally for me, so I know firsthand how important it is to have the right support in place.” - Coach Rosen

Coach Rosen’s commitment to individual and team development has led the Chargers to finish the past two seasons with an overall 17-5 record. The team went 9-2 in the 2026 season, finishing #1 in the Class D NEPSAC rankings.

In reflecting over these recent successes, Coach Rosen notes, “Over the last two seasons, I have never coached a group of players more dedicated to finding success, not just as a team, but within themselves as well. They have championed each other, held each other accountable, and have created a culture that celebrates not just the wins, but individual successes as well. Seeing the transformation of this team has been incredible to both watch and be a part of.”

Coach Rosen has coached lacrosse at CHCH since 2017 and previously at Camp All-Star Maine and Sandy Springs Friends School. In addition to coaching lacrosse, she has previously coached field hockey at Newton North High School and cheerleading at Roger Williams University.
