Affording

We recognize that families make significant investments and sacrifices in order to send their students to CH-CH. We thus offer financial aid resources for families who demonstrate a need as determined through the need-based financial aid application process. Each school year, the School awards 3 million dollars in need-based financial aid to more than 28% of its students. Financial aid granted to a family is a gift from the School, and is not paid back to the School. Further, the financial aid application and awarding process is extremely confidential and individualized, and the financial aid office takes the utmost care to ensure that all families’ information is secure and that all families’ applications are given equal consideration.

In addition to need-based financial aid resources, CH-CH offers grants to prospective students through the Charger Scholarship program as well as Merit and Waltham Scholarships to students of all grades. Charger Scholarships and Merit Awards are offered to applicants who exhibit any of the following qualities: leadership aptitude, a commitment to learning, community involvement, academic promise, potential to contribute significantly to our athletics and arts program, and potential to contribute positively to our residential life community. Recipients who choose to enroll at CH-CH will continue to carry their scholarship through graduation from our School.
Located 10 miles from Boston, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall (CH-CH) is a private, college preparatory day and boarding school for grades 7-12/PG. CH-CH cultivates intellectual courage, creative ambition, and unwavering empathy that drives students to achieve their best.
