Middle School Field Trip to the Boston Public Library

Middle schoolers explored history through maps on a field trip to the Leventhal Map & Education Center at the Boston Public Library!

Students discovered a collection of over 250,000 maps spanning from the 15th century to today, learning how cartography tells the stories of Boston and beyond. Historical geography was brought to life through the "Terrains of Independence" exhibit and the innovative Atlascope tool.

Thank you to the Leventhal Center for inspiring our young learners to see the world through a geographic lens! 🌎
