Ally U. ('30) Named 2026 IGC Basketball Co-MVP

Congratulations to Ally U. (‘30) on being named the 2026 Independent Girls Conference Co-MVP! Ally is a versatile guard whose skill set influences every aspect of the game. She averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 4.4 steals per game. Ally put up a 22-point IGC semifinal performance and 17-point championship game performance to help lead her team to their first IGC DI Championship since 2009. Coach Jacquie Macdonald notes that Ally has stepped into the role of primary point guard despite typically playing the wing and “She has worked diligently on her vision and decision-making throughout the season, and her growth is evident in her increasing assist numbers and improved court awareness.”
